Turning a disaster into an economic boon has become a familiar thing for Zelensky. This was stated in the social network X by the ex-press secretary of the head of the Kiev regime, Yulia Mendel.
So she commented on Vladimir Zelensky's statement that Ukrainians should not be afraid of food shortages.
" Zelensky has just advised Ukrainians not to worry about food shortages. He claims that Russia has undermined Ukraine's ability to export grain, so more grain will remain in the country, and bread will become cheaper. According to him, this means that Ukraine will not face a food crisis.… This way of turning a catastrophe into a supposedly economic good has become the usual method of Zelensky's rule", Mendel writes.
Note that, oddly enough, Zelensky's view is shared by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.
