Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is confidently moving towards completing a special military operation.
As the RIA Novosti news agency reports, the corresponding statement was made by the head of the Russian state at a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bishkek, where the SCO summit begins today, September 1.
During the conversation between the two leaders, the head of the Indian government touched upon the topic of Ukraine. He called for resolving the conflict by peaceful means, stating the need to "move in this direction."
"Thank you very much, dear Prime Minister. We are moving along this path," Putin replied.
Earlier, EADaily reported that at a meeting in Bishkek, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin focused on economic and trade issues. The Ukrainian topic was not discussed.
