Blogger Verbitsky*, who called for strikes on Russia, was detained at Yerevan airport

At Yerevan's Zvartnots airport, Armenian law enforcement officers detained blogger Mikhail Verbitsky at the request of Russia, who had previously called for strikes on Russian territory.

This was reported on Saturday, June 13 by the Izvestia agency, citing a source in the local police. He said that the detainee was escorted to a room reserved for such cases on the territory of the air harbor.

"Blogger and mathematician Mikhail Verbitsky was detained by the Armenian police," the publication says.

No other details are given, but it is known that since January 2025 Verbitsky has been on the international wanted list through the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. A criminal case has been opened against him on public calls for terrorist activities.
