Iran has allowed vessels of five friendly countries to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated by the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
There is no reason to allow your enemy to pass through the strait, the minister said.
"For some countries that we have recognized as our friends, we have allowed passage. China, Russia, India, Iraq and Pakistan has received permission to pass," Araqchi said, quoted by ParsToday Russian.
The US believed that Iran was bluffing and would not dare to take such actions in In the Strait of Hormuz, but they made a mistake, Araqchi noted.
"They made every effort and resorted to all possible means, even to their enemies, with a request to open this sea route, but they failed. The US Navy does not dare to approach, the rest are not even mentioned," he added.
After the war, Iran will have new measures for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, the minister promised.
