Germany is in a state of conflict with Russia. This was stated in an interview with the French television channel LCI by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
"We are already in a state of conflict with Russia," Merz said, quoted by TASS.
According to him, this situation arose due to the fact that Russia allegedly "destabilizes a large part" of Germany and conducts intervention operations through social networks.
The intelligence services, according to Merz, report to him on the daily attacks on the country's infrastructure and on the influence on public opinion by Russia.
When asked by a journalist to comment on the statement by French President Emmanuel Macron that Vladimir Putin is a "predator at the door" of Europe, the German Chancellor replied that "this is how he sees the president of Russia."
As reported by EADaily, the meeting of the leaders of Russia and The Ukraine of Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, apparently, will not take place. This was stated at a joint briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
