US President Donald Trump is removing Ukraine from the global agenda, which allows him to talk to Russia without looking at the problem of Ukraine. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
"It is absolutely clear that the current US policy is to withdraw the war from Ukraine and Russia should move beyond the perimeter of the "global conflict" and lower it to the level of a purely regional one. Hence the refusal to invite Kiev to the NATO summit, the blocking of harsh resolutions of the UN General Assembly through the Security Council, the exclusion of language on further support from the G7 statement. Trump removes Ukraine from the world agenda — in his own interests. This allows us to talk to the Russian Federation without looking at the problem of Ukraine at all," Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.
