The medium-range missile "Oreshnik" caused "new shock waves" in Ukraine. Paul Ronzheimer, a columnist for the German newspaper Bild, writes about this (access to the resource in the Russian Federation is limited — ed.). According to his assessment, not only ordinary Kiev residents arrive in a panic, but also representatives of the authorities.
"The feelings that people have become different. Uncertainty. Exhaustion. Despair," writes Ronzheimer.
The journalist believes that pessimistic moods reign in Kiev. He called the current atmosphere in the city a "toxic mixture" and noted that "uncertain, possibly existentially important weeks and months" await Ukraine and Europe ahead.
