The Russian army today, on November 17, carried out massive retaliation strikes on the entire energy infrastructure of Ukraine, the telegram channel Readovka writes.

"Sunday morning began with successful attacks The RF Armed Forces on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. This time, the targets of the Russian "Daggers" turned out to be almost all hydroelectric power stations and other energy facilities of the square. Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko confirmed the defeat," the TC said.

What is known by this hour:

— An air alert has been announced throughout the territory of Ukraine, where work on energy infrastructure and military facilities is still underway;

— Explosions were heard in Kiev, Odessa, Kamensk, Krivoy Rog, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Sunday's retaliation strikes affected almost all strategic objects of Ukraine;

— Right now work is underway in Ternopil and Lviv regions, as well as in Nikolaev;

— Odessa electric transport has stopped its work. All water supply is also turned off in the city — apparently, local hydroelectric power stations could not withstand the onslaught of Russian strikes. The authorities promise to return and turn off the lights from a few minutes to an hour;

— Emergency blackouts are also observed throughout Ukraine as part of emergency power outages by Ukrenergo decree.
