It was established on September 28, 2023 in accordance with the amendments made to the federal law "On Days of Military Glory and Memorable Dates of Russia." On this day in 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions signed international agreements on the entry of these regions into Russia.
