The Ministry of Culture of the Kaluga region refused to cancel the concert of singer Lolita Milyavskaya, which one of the local residents complained about. The complaint appeared in a comment to a post in the telegram channel of Kaluga governor Vladislav Shapsha.

A woman under the nickname "Olga" wrote that she asked to pay attention to Lolita's concert in Kaluga, which is scheduled for November 12 and is "heavily advertised."

"How is it possible to bring a so—called singer to our city who has repeatedly discredited herself?" the woman was indignant.

She recalled the naked party, and also pointed to a number of "other scandals," without specifying what it was about.

"We have other wonderful artists who love Russia, express their civic position, stay with Russia and support it," wrote a resident, in whose opinion Lolita is unworthy to perform "on the stage of our beloved city."

At the same time, the regional Ministry of Culture did not support the outrage of the citizen.

"Indeed, in November in Kaluga, a concert of the singer Lolita Milyavskaya will be held at a private venue. The attitude of the audience towards her is often ambiguous," the representative of the department wrote in response.

He recalled that Lolita is not a foreign agent.

"I have repeatedly expressed my active civic position on the annexation of Crimea and support for SMO," the ministry stressed.

As EADaily reported, earlier the question of the expediency of the Lolita concert was raised by one of the residents of Sochi. He indicated that the singer's performance would cost the city budget 9.4 million rubles.

In the comments, a number of users suggested not canceling the concert, but that half or 70% of the ticket sales fees be directed to SMO's needs. Other residents of the city remind the administration of unresolved problems: an extension to the school, bus shelters, problems with transport. Some Sochi residents claim that they will not go to this concert for free either.
