Engineer and entrepreneur Jorg Duss was born in Switzerland, but now lives in a small village near Tarusa in the Kaluga region, where he thanks the Almighty for Russia. Details are provided by the Komsomolskaya Pravda publication.
Many years ago, Duss left a prestigious career and a luxurious house in Switzerland, exchanging all this for the Russian hinterland. In the 90s, he found himself near Tarusa, where he got a job at a factory and lived in a dormitory.
Gradually, Jorg fell in love with Russia and decided not to return to his homeland.
"My God, it's so good that I left! My classmates do not live, they exist — they have everything planned from January 1 to December 31, they are waiting for Friday on Monday, and I have freedom, I live!" he said in an interview.
