The European Union is considering the possibility of imposing additional retaliatory duties against the United States. This time, the blow may be aimed at large technology companies, as reported by the Financial Times.
It is assumed that this will be a response to the measures taken by US President Donald Trump regarding the automotive industry and so outraged the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
"The Americans think they have the advantage of escalating the trade war, but we also have the opportunity," said one EU diplomat, who wished to remain anonymous.
