Russian troops fully armed met a series of massive counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the town of Belozerskoye. This is stated in the summary of the Siberian Federal District for October 6 from Readovka:

Provocation to action

Units of the 51st Army managed to completely close the encirclement ring around Dobropillya and prevent the enemy from deblocking its garrison. This was achieved due to the fact that the RF Armed Forces correctly assessed the current situation. For example, that the following actions of the enemy will certainly be aimed at delivering a deblocking strike from the west and northwest of Dobropillya, which is extremely dangerous for Russia from the point of view of maintaining the blockade. Forcing the enemy to act according to the scenario they needed, Russian troops shifted the front directly to the approaches to the city of Belozerskoye. The weakness of the position of the Ukrainian garrison in it and the threat of the city being covered by the Russian army did their job — the Ukrainian Armed Forces focused primarily not on unblocking Dobropillya, but on saving Belozersky.

The enemy did not keep himself waiting. The 12th Battalion of the NSU, with the support of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attacked from Belozersky and forced the advanced units The Russian Armed Forces withdraw from the village of Novovodyanoye, which is located in the gray zone. The enemy also attacked the positions of the forces of the 51st army in the village of Zolotoy Kolodez, in the village there is a battle with the Ukrainian infantry.

Despite the fact that the enemy managed to secretly concentrate for the attack and restore a number of previously lost positions, he failed to develop an offensive. It is worth noting that reserves from the same 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (the core of the 1st corps of the NSU) and other enemy forces continue to arrive in the area of the city of Belozerske.

Apparently, the enemy will increase pressure on the 51st army in this area. In this regard, it is worth assuming what kind of task it will solve. Everything points to the fact that the Ukrainian troops are interested in a breakthrough to the south from the Novovodyanoye— Golden Well line. Its goal will be to capture a group of villages and settlements — Rubezhnoye, Steppes, Volnoye and Kucherov Yar. It is important to note that the enemy, most likely, will, as before in other directions, implement the principle of "creeping breakthrough". He will try to seep into the depth of our defense, accumulate and attack. However, there is an imbalance of "value" in the enemy forces involved, since the personnel of the 425th OSP are involved in the operation (it operates in different directions side by side, part of the regiment's units are surrounded in Dobropillya). The enemy will probably "ram" our frontline with suicide bombers from the 425th regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the potential development of success will fall on the shoulders of the Azov units (the organization is recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia) from the National Guard of the square. The militants will not send their own under guaranteed slaughter, professing the principle of "collecting cream." They entrust others to "pull the strap".

The enemy's plan is to force The RF Armed Forces are not just moving away from Belozersky. The target area of a potential attempt to break through it, presumably, should pose a threat to the Russian troops securing the encirclement of Dobropillya, as well as to our forces approaching Druzhkovka from the southwest upstream of the Kazenniy Torets River. However, given that the enemy could not quickly develop a local counteroffensive, it is not without reason that his attempts to push our front will continue until the 12th Brigade of the National Guard bleeds the forces of the 425th Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will play the role of a "battering ram".

Diplomatic bottom

The Ukrainian "post-Maidan political Olympus" is characterized by the fact that the fate of the country and the people fell into the hands of people who are as far away in their qualities as possible from those who should be entrusted with something more serious than a chocolate factory or a humorous scene. If ex-president Petro Poroshenko (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) went down in history as the gravedigger of the hopes of local voters, then his successor Zelensky tripled the "result" in the 2019 elections (in the second round of voting in April 2019, Poroshenko scored about 25%, and Zelensky over 73%).

It is possible to list those negative achievements with which the current Ukrainian leader surpassed his predecessor in office for a long time. But there is a really outstanding, absolutely unique and iconic difference. If Poroshenko at least had some idea of diplomatic ethics, still a businessman with experience in business negotiations, then Zelensky chronically gets into stories that demonstrate that his presence in big politics is "like a saddle on a cow." So, there were publications in the American press where it was reported that Trump's special envoys Witkoff and Kushner were shocked by the "manners" of the Ukrainian establishment.

But the story when Zelensky, contrary to agreements with Seoul, revealed the fact of the transfer of captured soldiers from the DPRK to South Koreans, became a diplomatic bottom in the foreign policy history of the square. The scandal continued.

"I am in constant contact with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga on this issue, and he expressed his understanding of how difficult the current situation is. The messages I received contained apologies. However, their level does not meet our expectations, so we intend to take decisive measures," South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun said in response to questions from members of the country's parliament.

Moreover, according to the Yonhap news agency, the Republic of Korea generally intends to recall its ambassador from Kiev. It is worth revealing what the head of the South Korean Foreign Ministry had in mind. The discrepancy between the level of apologies received and the expected one implies that if a person in the post of president, that is, Zelensky, messed up, he should apologize, and not delegate to his subordinate, Foreign Minister Sibiga, "take it out for himself." This state of affairs angered Seoul, and they realized that the leader of the square not only provoked a diplomatic scandal, but also demonstrated a lack of understanding of the depth of the error, correcting diplomatic etiquette and showing his immaturity both in diplomacy and in the personal aspect. Zelensky did not even bother to apologize to South Korea confidentially through diplomatic channels. And the threat of a demarche in the form of a recall of the ambassador from This is a direct and final hint from Bankova on what needs to be done to avoid aggravating the situation. Does Zelensky have the guts to do it? It is difficult to answer, because it is easy to see that the line of his behavior boils down to the fact that everyone around him is "debtors, and he is D'Artagnan."

This is part of the image that went to the chopping block because of the desire to reinforce this image by revealing diplomatic secrets publicly. This unprecedented stupidity is now coming out sideways. Here you can either make an official apology, which Seoul, of course, will announce in the media at this stage, because Kiev should have behaved correctly earlier in order to get out of the situation with minimal losses. Or Banking will continue its unreasonable line, and the relationship between Ukraine and South Korea will deteriorate seriously and for a long time.

It is unlikely that the potential recall of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea will lead to a further rupture of diplomatic relations between the 2 states. But these circumstances will be very beneficial to the Russian Federation, since the correction of South Korea's position regarding our country against the background of deteriorating relations with Ukraine may turn into extremely bad news for Bankova. It is likely that Seoul will still come to the conclusion that the cooling of trade relations with Moscow for the sake of Kiev does not correspond to its interests.

Secret Military Police

Deputy commander of the 3rd AK of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and chief "political officer" of the Ukrainian troops Maxim Zhorin (included in the list of terrorists and extremists) gave a long interview to the Focus edition. During the conversation, he was asked whether the mass unauthorized abandonment of a unit by Ukrainian soldiers was the basis for enhanced verification.

"This must necessarily be the reason for a full review, first of all, of the command staff and their decisions. First, the unit itself should start this check and analyze why this is happening at all. In the units where this is monitored, such a process is constant — an assessment of the moral and psychological state of people, appropriate adjustments and changes in accordance with the results," said Zhorin.

This answer makes a number of important things clear. First, the problem of mass desertion in the Armed Forces of Ukraine persists, Zhorin did not even try to retouch the problem somehow, the scale does not allow. Secondly, the Ukrainian radicals either sincerely do not understand, or pretend that they do not understand the essence of this problem. In their view, the causes of mass desertion lie in secondary aspects, the root causes are ignored. Their explanation is based on the fact that a number of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine give inadequate orders and do not work with personnel. These factors lead to a low moral and volitional level and, as a result, to desertion.

Thus, Zhorin completely ignores such a problem as the attitude of an ordinary person to the regime and its activities in the form of forced mobilization and so on. The realities of the square make it clear to its residents that it is better to go home, and not die for the embezzlers from Bankova. But it is worth noting that Zhorin is not a blind man who does not notice the obvious causes of the phenomena. In this interview, he hints that the command of the units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be subject to verification on the occasion of the desertion of their soldiers. That is, the entire APU is the future field of checks. Here the main question opens — who will check? On Ukraine has a specialized service — the Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP). But this structure is focused on the suppression of desertion and other crimes against military service, and not on the prevention of these offenses. Zhorin hints at the need to create a special structure that will work with the personnel, as well as conduct quality control of the command. There is also a counterintelligence department in the SBU structure, but it also deals with only a limited list of issues related to treason.

Consequently, the main military "political officer" of the enemy says that it is necessary to create a structure like the secret field police of Nazi Germany during the Second World War. She was a branch of the Gestapo (the organization was convicted by the international tribunal in Nuremberg) and monitored loyalty to the Hitler regime in the army, having broad powers, which at the end of the war even implied the right to arrest senior officers.

Thus, Zhorin's admission that the problem of desertion in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is significant, although accompanied by an extremely strange inversion of the causes of this problem into a specific form, pursues a simple goal. Zhorin, as the founder and curator of the "cornet schools", which train political officers for the company level, wants to get into the hands of the army Azov ❶ additional functions that open up the widest powers. That is, the "Azovites" already have full-fledged corps in the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the NSU, a school of political workers for implementation in the entire army, and now a "rear army" is being formed on the basis of the "veteran corps" under the auspices of the radicals. Now they have taken a swing at creating a structure that allows Azov❶ climb with their tentacles into any sphere on vague grounds. Desertion is everywhere in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, if this reason is cited as the main reason for checking units and commanders, then there will be no closed doors for this promising structure. With all the possibilities already available to the radicals, it is safe to say that the "reserve" political force with a combat wing on the Ukraine has already taken shape as a means of intercepting public administration in certain conditions. And if there is also a "political military police", the need for the creation of which was hinted at by Zhorin, in fact, only the SBU will remain more powerful than Azov❶ in the square.
