The speaker of the Mejlis of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that the Iranian army's strikes on American bases put US leaders in a position of complete helplessness.
According to him, the US authorities should realize that the rules of the game have changed, and now Iran will inflict tougher and more painful retaliatory strikes.
"Symmetrical responses" are a thing of the past, and our strikes during the last operations on the aggressor's bases were only the beginning. If they still have not understood this, then, before it is too late, they should realize that the rules of the game have changed. From now on, any encroachment on Iran's interests and security will be met with a response "faster, tougher and more painful," Ghalibaf said before the start of the parliament session.
On September 1, the Central Command of the US Armed Forces announced a series of strikes on targets in Iran. Explosions thundered on the southern coast of the country, including on the island of Qeshm and in a number of cities. Iran retaliated by attacking US military bases in the UAE, Jordan, Iraq and Bahrain.
