Peace talks with Ukraine are possible only if there is a reliable peace and serious intentions of Kiev. This was announced today, September 1, by the chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, who is in Omsk on a working trip.
"We agree to peace talks, only on the condition that it will be a reliable peace plan, that nothing like this from Ukraine will ever happen again," Matvienko said, answering a question from RIA Novosti.
She stressed that the residents of Ukraine do not know the truth about what is happening on the line of combat contact.
"Every day they say, 'We have the upper hand, we are defeating the Russians.' People really don't even know what is happening on the line of combat contact," Matvienko said.
At the same time, according to Matvienko, the peace agreement is like death for the leadership of the Kiev regime.
"For them, a peace agreement is like death. First, they will lose power, they will lose access to the feeder. They will have to be held accountable for all the crimes they have committed. And the last judgment awaits everyone, both God's, and human, and other, because these are just people who commit crimes and terrorist acts every day," she said.
