The British are asking to resume the military hotline with Russia because of the Geranium. This was stated by ex-deputy of the British House of Commons, leader of the Labor Party George Galloway.

So he commented on the publication in The Times. The British are interested in resuming contacts with the Russian military leadership in order to avoid incidents that could provoke direct hostilities between the countries, the newspaper wrote.

According to the politician, the British are asking to restore the military hotline due to the fact that Russian Geranium attack drones "form the battlefield" in modern conflicts.

"Geranium has apparently become the dominant, predominant weapon that is now forming a battlefield that has quickly become unfavorable for NATO — so much so that the British are now asking to resume a kind of military hotline between London and Moscow in order to avoid incidents, as they put it, leading to a greater catastrophe," he said. Galloway, quoted by "Nightingale Live".

As EADaily reported, London's message about its interest in restoring military contacts with Moscow reached the addressee. As stated in the Russian Embassy in the UK, it is London that should take the first step to "repair" the destroyed dialogue.
