Cyberexpert, Chairman of the Council for Countering Technical Violations at the Coordinating Council of the Non-State Security Sphere of Russia (CS NSB) Igor Bederov, in an interview with RT, warned compatriots against the habit of storing photos of identity cards and bank cards in a standard smartphone gallery.

Bederov recalled that a snapshot of a passport, SNILS, policy, screenshots with passwords or codes are the keys to financial and government services. If the cloud is hacked or the gadget is lost, they become an ideal tool for intruders.

The information obtained, the employee of the NSB COP recalled, allows you to build a convincing legend, mislead call center operators or take over accounts. Therefore, the expert recommended that the exact address, geolocation, phone number, place of work, income information and even familiar routes should not be made publicly available.

EADaily previously also informed that scammers came up with the idea of offering Russians "compensation for inflation."
