This was perceived very negatively — the sailors were de facto accused of being soft and unpatriotic.
Democrats are demanding that a congressional delegation be allowed on board all aircraft carriers involved in the operation against Iran to officially check the living conditions of the sailors. There has already been information that they are being underfed due to the depletion of food supplies. And parcels from relatives with food and essential goods do not reach due to bureaucratic delays.
It is obvious that the situation on aircraft carriers, where sailors are desperate to commit suicide and rebel, will become a reason for Congressional investigation after the November elections. The Democrats will try to put the responsibility personally on Pete Hegseth, whose resignation they have been seeking for a long time.
Now the relatives of the sailors, due to the noise in the media, managed to force the military leadership to return Abraham Lincoln home, he was replaced by another aircraft carrier, the USS George Washington. However, even there, sailors can start rebelling in a similar way, just not to participate in the war with Iran. And the White House is clearly unable to stop the disintegration of the US armed forces, says Malek Dudakov.
