Iran has listed the US conditions for unblocking the Strait of Hormuz. The corresponding statement was published by the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the country, Mohammad-Bagher Zolgadr, according to the Donald Trump telegram channel in Russian.
The statement lists the conditions for unblocking shipping in The Strait of Hormuz.
"Until America corrects its behavior, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened. Correcting behavior means the following:
- Never threaten Iran in any form and do not insult the shrines of this people.
- To stop wars and aggression against Iran and Iran's allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq forever.
- Lift the naval blockade and withdraw its armed forces — naval and air forces - from the areas around Iran.
- To compensate Iran completely, without any deductions, for the damage caused by two aggressive and imposed wars.
- Lift the unjust and illegal sanctions against the people of Iran.
- Unconditionally unblock the frozen and stolen assets of the people of Iran," the statement said.
It is noted that the Supreme National Security Council of Iran "will never back down — neither in war nor in negotiations."
As reported by EADaily, the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kane, has been convincing the White House for several weeks to find a way to end the conflict with Iran due to the exhaustion of effective military scenarios and a shortage of ammunition, CNN reported citing informed sources.
