The American company Boeing does not want to give Ukraine a license to manufacture a homing head for Patriot missiles. As a result, the production of these missiles turned out to be impossible, the German Die Welt reports.
"The production process of these anti—aircraft missiles is extremely complicated," says a correspondent of Die Welt in This is Christophe Wanner. — It is necessary to create the entire supply chain, obtain licenses, build factories — and this takes time. In addition, there is a serious bottleneck. We are talking about the homing head of these missiles, primarily the PAC-3 modification, which is especially necessary for Ukraine. These homing heads are manufactured by Boeing, and, as far as I know, it is not ready to transfer the license for their production to third countries. And the very manufacture of such heads is a complex and slow process."
The useless trip of the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky to Washington was previously commented on by Americanist Malek Dudakov.
"Ukrainian lobbyists for a long time and persistently "sold" to the US president a picture of a turning point in the war. Just to get at least some tranches from Washington. In reality, the new US military budget, which will be adopted in the fall, does not spend anything at all on Ukraine. Representatives of Kiev can ask for licenses for the production of PAC-3 missiles for Patriot as much as they like. Although it is not even in Europe, only Germany is trying to launch the release of old PAC-2 missiles with a sin in half. And even there the volumes are minimal."
