The Blue Angels fighter jet flew too low over holidaymakers on the beach in Florida, the air stream blew away umbrellas and tents.
The incident occurred in Pensacola Beach during a training flight of the aerobatic team of the US Navy Blue Angels. One of the fighters passed so low over the water that the airflow damaged the chairs, awnings and beach umbrellas. People covered their ears from the roar of engines and tried to save themselves and things.
The US Navy acknowledged that the plane had flown below a safe profile and began an internal check.
