The countries of Eastern Europe constantly talk about the alleged impending attack of Russia just for the sake of money, said Rostislav Ishchenko.
According to him, such statements help these countries to receive more financial and military assistance.
"Whoever shouts louder: "I'm on the front line, Russia will come to me first," he can get more out of these budgets for himself. And this is a lot of money," Ishchenko said on Sputnik radio.
That is why the countries of Eastern Europe are actively seeking the deployment of NATO bases — this brings additional funding, Ishchenko concluded.
