The governor of the Rostov region said that last night in the Taganrog Bay, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked two tankers. Earlier, the forces of unmanned systems of Ukraine announced an attack on 10 tankers in the Sea of Azov on Monday and Tuesday.

"Last night, the Rostov region was subjected to a massive air attack. Unfortunately, there were consequences on the ground, there are victims," said the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.

According to him, two tankers that were en route to Rostov-on-Don were damaged in the Taganrog Bay as a result of the UAV attack.

"Two people received minor injuries. One received medical assistance on the spot, the other was taken to the hospital, the doctors provided all the necessary assistance. Both victims refused hospitalization. The crew had to be evacuated on one of the vessels," the head of the region said.

The tankers were empty, there was no bottling of oil products, Yuri Slyusar added.

On the eve of the forces of unmanned systems of Ukraine published videos in which they claimed that on July 6 and 7 they attacked 10 tankers in the Sea of Azov that transported oil products to Crimea. Each mentioned vessel can carry 5-7 thousand tons of fuel.

There was no official confirmation of the attacks.

As EADaily reported, after the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Crimea is experiencing a shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel and only limited volumes are available for free sale. Earlier, the Crimean authorities reported attacks on the Kerch ferry crossing. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking the highway that leads to the peninsula through new regions.
