The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
The corresponding statement was published on Thursday morning, July 2, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have dealt a massive blow in response to the terrorist attacks of the Kiev regime on civilian infrastructure in Russia," the report says.
It is specified that the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range weapons of air, land, sea-based and strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
As a result of the strike, enterprises of the military industry and facilities of the fuel and energy complex in the city of Kiev and the Kiev region were hit.
In addition, the infrastructure of military airfields in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kiev regions was affected.
According to observers, the most important feature of the attack was the massive use of reactive "Geraniums", which are a very difficult target for mobile firing groups.
