Z-bloggers of the telegram channel "Two Majors" criticized the Kremlin's negotiator with the United States - the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev, who, in their opinion, "took care of the welfare" of the European economy.
"It is so touching that the Special Representative of the Russian Federation is worried about the deindustrialization of Germany and the energy problems of Europe. But the Supreme [Commander—in-Chief Vladimir Putin] said a week ago that NATO countries had switched from supporting Kiev to openly declaring preparations for war with Russia and were increasing their military budgets," the Two Majors note.
In this regard, Z-bloggers are wondering:
"In whose interests is it then to help the enemy's military industry with resources and support the European economy, which is "experiencing difficulties"?"
They quote from statements made by the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation.
On July 1, Dmitriev said on social networks that Europeans want to see Russia as a partner:
"...real European leaders and Europeans themselves want to see Russia as their partner."
A day earlier, on June 30, Dmitriev supported the calls of the German opposition to stop Europe boycotting Russian oil and gas:
"It would be very rational, because it would reduce energy costs, stop the deindustrialization of Germany and support its economy, which is experiencing difficulties. If only the governments of the EU countries were able to admit their mistakes and correct them, Europe would have a much better chance of success."
The Two Majors also emphasize that "Dmitriev has repeatedly criticized the energy policy of the European Union, arguing that the rejection of Russian resources damages the economy and competitiveness of Europe."
