Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he intends to resign in the near future and announce early presidential and parliamentary elections.
This demand has been repeatedly voiced by participants in anti-government protests.
Vucic's presidential term was supposed to last until mid-2027. This is his second term as president. For Vucic, he would have been the last in any case.
