Seven drones flying to Moscow were shot down, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said.
"Five drones flying to Moscow were shot down. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," Sobyanin wrote in the channel on the Maks platform.
Earlier, the mayor of Moscow announced two more downed drones.
"Two UAVs were destroyed by the Defense Ministry's air defense. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote.
