Moscow was surprised by the words of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Washington cannot be a mediator in resolving the crisis around Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference.
"Recently, my colleague Marco Rubio, speaking at congressional hearings, said, to our surprise, that the United States cannot be mediators in Ukrainian affairs because the United States fully supports Ukraine," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said, quoted by TASS.
