The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, May 30 by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"In response to the terrorist attacks of Ukraine on civilian objects on the territory of Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike," the report says.
It is specified that the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
The targets for the strikes were military airfields, energy, fuel and transport infrastructure facilities that are used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Defense Ministry stressed that the targets of the strikes had been achieved. All designated facilities were hit.
It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As a result, the points of temporary deployment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 148 districts were defeated.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Vostok group of forces liberated Lesnoye, Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of active offensive operations.
