The office noted that the author of the article is Nicholas Kristof. He has previously won the Pulitzer Prize twice.
As EADaily reported, on May 12, The New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof published material based on testimonies of raped Palestinians and a report by the human rights organization Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor. It claims that Israel uses systematic sexual violence as part of an organized State policy.
"During the interview, the Palestinians told me about the growing Israeli practice of using sexual violence against men, women and even children. This is done by soldiers, settlers, investigators," Christophe pointed out.
