There are no changes in the format of the Victory Day parade on May 9 on Red Square. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

"As for the format of the parade, there was a fairly detailed message from the Ministry of Defense two weeks ago. Nothing has changed since then," Interfax quoted the Kremlin spokesman as saying.

Answering a question about the Immortal Regiment march, Peskov noted that it would be held in an online format.

"It will be in full-time format in a number of other countries, where they still show great interest in the Immortal Regiment," Peskov concluded.

As reported by EADaily, in early April, the head of the Presidential Department for Public Projects, Sergey Novikov, said at a meeting of the board of Rosmolodezh that this year's procession of the "Immortal Regiment" would be held both in traditional and online format.

Novikov named as the main common task — to celebrate Victory Day at a high level.
