More than 8 thousand Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus in April alone. This was announced today, May 4, by the Belarusian State Border Committee.
It is reported that 8,340 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in the republic "over the past month from the Ukrainian territory: 7 through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 7,531 through Poland, 762 through Lithuania, 40 through Latvia."
"In total, 29,070 citizens of Ukraine entered our country in 2026: 17 through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 25,889 through Poland, 3,032 through Lithuania, 132 through Latvia," the CPC said.
Belarus does not participate in the Russian SMO, but supports Moscow's actions. Despite this, Kiev severed all relations with Minsk and closed the border with the neighboring republic.
