The Druzhba oil pipeline will be repaired and will be able to function by the end of April, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
"As for the oil pipeline, as we promised, it will be repaired by the end of April. Not completely, but enough to function," he assured.
"Who would doubt it. The elections in Hungary have passed and now there is no need to portray an oil pipeline as not working. And you won't get 90 billion euros without launching it. Therefore, the solution is obvious. The only question is — for how long?"— blogger and military commentator Yuriy Podolyaka commented on Zelensky's statement.
As EADaily reported, since January 27, Russian oil has not been supplied via the Druzhba pipeline to refineries in Hungary and Slovakia.
