In one of the richest EU countries, which invariably occupies a leading position in the world happiness rankings, the number of Ukrainians who have received temporary protection status is rapidly decreasing, UNIAN writes.
We are talking about Finland, which has allowed 90,000 Ukrainian refugees to live and work in the country since 2022.
According to the Ukrainian edition, currently about 50,000 Ukrainians live in the country, "the rest have left due to problems with integration and lack of work."
The main problem in the Finnish labor market, according to media reports, is the mandatory knowledge of the local language, which creates additional difficulties for immigrants.
"I'm looking for a job, but I can't find anything. Even on farms, knowledge of the Finnish language is required, English alone is not enough. Every week I send dozens of resumes, and most of them don't even get rejected," a Ukrainian with experience as a construction engineer complained to journalists.
