Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to constructive dialogue and discussion of the most pressing issues at the negotiating table. This was pointed out to journalists by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
Answering a question from journalists about whether the Russian Federation had received signals from European countries about the resumption of energy cooperation, Peskov noted that Moscow had not received any signals in this regard.
"There have been no signals from Europe to continue cooperation in the energy sector," the Kremlin spokesman said. — [But it's] never too late. Putin is open to constructive dialogue. However, there have been signals that they allegedly want to take a seat at the negotiating table on the topic of the Ukrainian settlement."
"On the other hand, it's never too late [to start a discussion]. You know that Putin is open to constructive dialogue and discussion of the most pressing issues at the negotiating table," the Kremlin spokesman said.
