US losses during the first week of the war with Iran amounted to 200 killed and more than 3,000 wounded. This was stated to the Iranian Press TV channel by an unnamed high-ranking Iranian intelligence officer.
According to the official, a comprehensive assessment of American losses since February 28 — both human and material — has been provided to Iran by "non-regional sources." These sources indicate a critical depletion of the air defense reserves of both the United States and Israel. The official described it as "very serious."
"Intelligence additionally describes significant losses (of personnel. — EADaily), reporting that at least 200 US military personnel were killed in the first week, and more than 3,000 were injured," the note says.
As for material losses, the United States lost 150 launch platforms and 23 Patriot air defense systems, 37 aircraft and helicopters were destroyed, as well as 43% of US weapons stocks.
"Although American and Israeli officials remain silent about the extent of the damage caused by the Iranian strikes, independent media and analysts estimate the cost of destruction in the tens of billions of dollars. In particular, they pointed to the almost complete destruction of American-Israeli defense systems and radars as a result of Iranian targeted missile strikes," the TV channel reports.
It is noted that Tel Aviv is asking the United States for additional military assistance, and Washington is begging its regional allies to come to the rescue.
