After the US strike on the Iranian island of Kharg, which is the country's main oil terminal, not a single energy facility was damaged.

"All 55 crude oil storage tanks appear to be intact. Two Iranian tankers began loading 2.7 million barrels of crude oil this morning. Nothing is burning," write Tankertrackers with reference to satellite images. They track offshore oil exports around the world.

Tankertrackers noted that the United States was hitting purely military targets.

"There are 55 crude oil storage tanks on the island, holding more than 34 million barrels. Most likely, they were not injured. The supertanker was completing its 48-hour loading of 2 million barrels. Several smaller tankers were loading or had just docked on the eastern side of the island," the researchers wrote.

According to them, since the beginning of the Iranian war two weeks ago, tankers have been continuously loading on Kharg Island.

"According to our data, the island accounted for 96% of Iran's crude oil exports in 2025, or 1.538 million barrels per day out of a total of 1.605 million barrels per day," Tankertrackers wrote.
