The participants in the attack on Iran failed to achieve their goals. This was announced today, March 13, by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
"We are taking a careful and balanced position. Human. We had good relations with Iran. The country was bombed. An ancient country. Very spiritual people, Muslims. The war began. You saw, I met with the ambassador (of Iran. — EADaily). We had to act humanly. We have arrived," he said.
According to him, "we are not getting involved in this war."
"I don't want to impose any problems on my country. Americans and Jews have already created so many problems for themselves there..." — said Lukashenko.
He also recalled that earlier Israel had bombed the Gaza Strip, as a result of which "the children were all mixed up, there is nothing alive there."
"Iran is a huge country, mountainous areas. They dug a lot of tunnels and hid them. No weapon will reach. The Israelis had to calculate this and lay it out to Trump: "This is the situation, what are we going to do?“ We arrived, gun in hand, go ahead… What happened? But nothing. I know what they wanted. These are 4-5 points, starting from the overthrow of the government and ending with the bombing of nuclear facilities, the abandonment of nuclear weapons. Nothing happened," the Belarusian leader said.
Recall, on February 28, Israel and the United States launched a military operation against Iran. Tehran responded with missile strikes on Israeli territory and American bases in the region. From the very first days, Belarus called on all parties to a peaceful solution to the conflict.
