The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are capable of repeatedly increasing their forces in the field of combat unmanned aerial vehicles and creating hundreds of units of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Dmitry Pulmanovsky, chief of staff of the battalion of the Rubezh brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, outlined such a prospect in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda.

He clarified that Russia is actively working on this issue, relying on the Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies of the Russian Defense Ministry as a basis.

"The Russians have now directed their efforts not to the development of the Rubicon itself, but to scaling up its experience. They are creating a whole infrastructure and command for this. After that, hundreds of such "Rubicons" will be deployed throughout Russia," the Ukrainian specialist said.

The publication explains that we are talking about the fact that during the spring — summer of 2026 The Russian Armed Forces will be able to scale the Rubicon experience to other UAV units.

Such an approach will undoubtedly affect the quality of strikes on the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the advancement of the Russian military at the front. The agency pointed out the absence of a similar unit in the Ukrainian army.

"When Rubicon was just entering the front, it started with strikes on Ukrainian logistics. Now Rubicon knocks out almost everything," the authors of the material concluded.

Earlier, EADaily reported that, according to State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulev, there were signs of preparations for a large-scale Russian offensive in the SMO zone.
