The publishing house "Tenes"*, which was created by journalist Mikhail Zygar ** and film critic Anton Dolin** liquidated the division of the Federal Tax Service (Federal Tax Service) in Moscow. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"Journalist Irek Bikkinin** notified the tax service that he is no longer the director of Tenes. No other employees were found in the company — they decided to liquidate the legal entity," the publication says.
The publishing house was their last operating business in In Russia, however, the decision to close the publishing house was reported back in November 2023.
"In 2024, the owners remotely updated the documents, and the company formally continued its work," the telegram channel claims.
As reported by EADaily, in July 2024, Zygar ** was found guilty under item "d" of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation). By the verdict of the Basmanny Court, he was sentenced to 8.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony with a ban on site administration for 4 years.
In May last year, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined a journalist 50 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent.
