Special forces are being pulled into the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyz journalist Bolot Temirov wrote about this in his telegram channel.
"Special forces are coming to Bishkek from the regions... (subscriber's message)," he said.
Yesterday, February 10, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev left the post. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the republic Sadyr Japarov. At the same time, his three deputies were dismissed: Kurvanbek Avazov, Daniel Rysaliev and Elizar Smanov. Zhumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously held the position of deputy and headed the 9th service of the State National Security Committee - the state Security Service, became the interim head of the special service.
Arrests have begun in the republic today. In particular, the public figure Bekbolot Talgarbekov, who initiated a public appeal on the need to hold early presidential elections in the country, was detained.
