Belarus in 2025 became the main supplier of fish in Russia. This is reported by the Fish Union.
It is reported that Belarus supplied 112 thousand tons of fish worth $ 336 million. The second place was taken by China — 96 thousand tons for $ 410 million, the third place by Turkey — 75 thousand tons for $ 482 million. The top five suppliers also included Chile and Vietnam. In total, Russia in 2025 increased imports of fish and seafood by 7%, to $ 3.1 billion. At the same time, revenue from fish exports increased by 14% to $ 6 billion.
Recall, Belarus and Russia has been building a Union State since 1999. In recent years, cooperation between Minsk and Moscow has noticeably intensified.
