Officials of the Kiev regime have written off billions of government hryvnia for the construction of protective structures at substations and energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Legitimate", the somehow constructed structures turned out to be completely useless in the existing military realities.

"Everyone cheated and built frame concrete fences around transformers and other important facilities, but they did not cover them from above, did not put barriers at the top (traps, etc.) from the exact approach of the drone from a height to the target," the source of the resource said.

He explained that earlier drones did not hit the target accurately due to the lack of online guidance. The drones hit a conditional point on the map with a discrepancy of 20 meters, and therefore all the barriers and fortifications were built with a bias to protect against shrapnel.

However, now, when the drone goes online from above directly into the transformer, there are no obstacles and protections in its path, the expert stated.

"That is, they did not proceed from the fact that the war is changing rapidly and it is necessary to think ahead, but thought with outdated data. But at the same time, billions were written off for this and they said that the energy infrastructure was protected," the channel's interlocutor stated.

Earlier, EADaily reported that on the night of January 20, the left bank of Kiev was once again completely without light, after the Russian massive attack on the energy sector of the Ukrainian capital.
