There was no APU strike on the state residence of the President of Russia. This was announced to journalists on board his plane on the way from Florida to Washington by US President Donald Trump, TASS reports.
"I do not believe that this strike took place. Something happened quite close [to the state residence of the President of Russia]. But it had nothing to do [with a blow to the Russian leader's state residence]," the head of the White House said.
Answering the question why, in this case, he had previously actually condemned Kiev, commenting on this topic, Trump replied that at that moment no one knew about it.
"That was the first time I heard about it. He (Putin. — Approx. EADaily) said that his house was hit. We do not believe that this has happened. Now that we've been able to check... we just hope that Russia and Ukraine will resolve [the conflict]," Trump added.
