The Brazilian President believes that attacking countries is a flagrant violation of international law, and this is the first step towards a world of violence, chaos and instability, where the law of the strongest prevails over multilateralism.
"Condemning the use of force is consistent with the position that Brazil has always taken in recent situations in other countries and regions. These actions are reminiscent of the worst moments of interference in the politics of Latin America and the Caribbean and threaten the preservation of the region as a zone of peace," the Brazilian president said.
He believes that the international community, through the United Nations, should respond decisively.
