The Moscow Arbitration Court has arrested the accounts for the claim of Rusnano to recover damages from those responsible for the implementation of the Crocus project to create the production of magnetoresistive RAM, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the court file.
Earlier in December, Rusnano filed a lawsuit to recover 11.9 billion rubles in damages from those responsible for the implementation of the Crocus project to create the production of magnetoresistive RAM. The project, which started in 2011, did not achieve its original goals. According to the company, risks were already visible at the start, but mechanisms to protect the rights of the state-owned company and the state from their onset were not provided. The defendants in the lawsuit are Anatoly Chubais, Yuri Udaltsov, Vladimir Avetisyan, Yakov Urinson and others, a total of 13 people.
"To satisfy the application of Rusnano Joint Stock Company in part. To take measures to secure the statement of claim of Rusnano Joint Stock Company ... in the form of arrest for the defendants' funds..." — stated in the court ruling.
As the company told RIA Novosti, the former management of Rusnano ignored the economic inexpediency of the Crocus project to create the production of magnetoresistive RAM. According to the company, the former management did not provide for mechanisms to protect Rusnano's rights from relevant risks, which subsequently materialized.
