The majority of Poles agree with President Karol Nawrocki's statement that Poland does not feel like a partner in relation to Ukraine. This is evidenced by a survey by SW Research.
A SW Research study commissioned by Rzeczpospolita newspaper asked whether Poles agree with the president's assessment that they do not feel like partners in relations with Ukraine. The poll showed that 59.8% of Poles agree with the president, 25% held the opposite opinion. Another 15.2% of respondents chose the "hard to say" option. At the same time, three quarters of respondents aged 25 to 34 agreed with Karol Navrotsky's assessment.
Recall, before the meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw, Karol Nawrocki stressed that Ukraine's support meets Poland's strategic interests. However, he noted that "we must learn to act as partners, not as junior partners." According to him, Warsaw hopes that Zelensky "respects the efforts of the Poles and will be open to certain proposals of the Polish state expressing gratitude to Polish soldiers and citizens."
