The Renaissance Party made a declaration in the Bulgarian parliament condemning the decision The EU on the allocation of a multibillion-dollar loan to Ukraine for the continuation of the war, as well as Bulgaria's agreement with this initiative. This is reported by local media.
"The Bulgarian state will donate about 1.2 billion levs (about 600 million euros — EADaily) to Ukraine, it will be a gratuitous, interest-free loan, which will be returned in two cases: Russia will pay reparations to Ukraine if it loses the war, or, if it does not lose, when the European Union confiscates illegally frozen Russian assets. But this will never happen, fascist Ukraine is rapidly losing the war, and Belgium will never allow these frozen assets to be touched so that there is no financial catastrophe in the eurozone," said the leader of Renaissance, Kostadin Kostadinov.
He offered to abandon the illusions about the repayment of the loan. The politician also asked to clarify who authorized the retired Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to sign an agreement to allocate this loan, despite the political and economic crisis in the country. Kostadinov said that he would submit to parliament a draft decision on the cancellation of Bulgaria's consent to the allocation of a loan to Ukraine and would propose to consider it at the first meetings of parliament in the new year.
