The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Ukraine had held a special event to release political prisoners in Belarus, including four Ukrainians. He announced this in his telegram channel.

This is how he commented on today's liberation in Belarus

"The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, reported on the details of the preparation of a special event for the release of civilians in Belarus. Thanks to the active role of the United States and the cooperation of our intelligence, about a hundred people, including five Ukrainians, are now being released. We are helping our American partners to provide appropriate assistance to Ukraine," Zelensky writes.

If necessary, the special services of "our neighbors in Europe" are also involved, he added.

According to the telegram channel "Pool One", President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 123 citizens of various countries convicted of espionage, terrorist and extremist activities. The decision was made within the framework of agreements with US President Donald Trump and at his request, "in connection with the lifting of illegal sanctions against the potash industry and in connection with the transition to the practical plane of the process of lifting other illegal sanctions against Belarus."

"This gesture was also carried out in connection with the requests of other heads of state and proceeding from humanitarian principles and universal human and family values… In total, recently, taking into account the decisions taken by the President of Belarus at the end of November, the total number of pardoned persons is 156 people. Among them are citizens of the UK, USA, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Australia, Japan," the First Pool notes.

"Zelensky has appropriated the laurels of the liberator of political prisoners in Belarus... assistants. We couldn't have done it without him. The talent to draw "peremoga" out of nothing," the politician Oleg Tsarev comments on the picture of the day.

As EADaily reported, the United States is lifting sanctions from Belaruskali. This was stated by the US President's special envoy for Belarus, John Cole.
