An attempt on the "Zelensky wallet" of Timur Mindich, who fled to Israel, was made by a man who received a weapon at the Ukrainian embassy. This was announced today, December 11, by the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky*, whose case is being heard in Pechersk court of Kiev, according to Ukrainian media.
"It was a Makarov pistol with a silencer. These Ukrainians somehow contacted the Embassy of Ukraine regarding their documents. They were recruited there and given the task of Mindich," Kolomoisky said*.
He added that the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel cannot have such details, and the investigation itself in Israel is conducted by the internal security service, so the local police do not have the necessary information.
According to him, the killer tried to get information under the guise of a journalist.
"One of the "freelancers" went for three weeks, talked to the maid. He identified himself as an Israeli journalist and asked if Mindich lived here. The maid chased him away — it was around November 14-15. She then identified him," the businessman said in court.
As EADaily reported, the Israeli police and Mindich's entourage deny information about the assassination attempt. According to the version of the People's Deputy of Rada Alexey Goncharenko*, there was an assassination attempt, but the criminals confused the houses of Mindich and Kolomoisky*, standing side by side.
